One of the best Thai places I've ever been to! I ordered the drunken noodles at spice level three and it was perfectly balanced with the seasoning and spice; it came with a healthy amount of tofu, and it was marinated very well instead of plain which was a pleasant surprise. My partner got the duck noodle soup and the chicken satay, and said both were exceptional! The soup was very rich in flavor and the noodles had a great consistency. The portions are sharing size (and very reasonable for the price!), so be aware of that when ordering multiple entrees; we were in over our heads. We had to take our mago sticky rice home cause we were so full, but it was still the most delicious sticky rice I've ever had!

We always come to this restaurant whenever we come to Sacramento. It is easily the best Thai food we've had. Today we tried Tom Kha soup for the first time and it was incredible. The owner makes us feel welcome every time.

It’s our first time dining at Tong Thai Bistro and will definitely be coming back! From the moment we walked in we were greeted with such a warm ang genuine welcome. Mango salad 100% recommended! Fresh,bright,has the right amount of everything in it. Shrimp donuts- incredible! Golden crisp,crunchy texture and very flavorful. Khao Soi- warms up your soul, perfect balance of everything; rich and comforting, creamy and flavorful. I hope this business lasts long, we sensed a vibe that they really loved what they’re doing and it reflects into the dishes they serve.

I went to Tong Thai yesterday for someone’s birthday, and it turned out to be a wonderful find! The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and both the cooks and the wait staff were incredibly kind and patient. The food was absolutely delicious—easily the best Thai restaurant I’ve been to around the area. Everything from the flavors to the presentation was amazing. I’ll definitely be coming back again!

Stumbled upon this hidden gem while wandering near the Rainbow Bridge and wow—what a find! Hands down the best Thai food we’ve had in the Folsom area.
